NORAS 2008 report reveals 17% increase in Unique Users per month

fish4jobs has retained its position as the largest UK online recruitment site for the fourth year running, according to the NORAS 2008 report published today. This follows a strong 2007 for the company in which fish4jobs launched a wide range of new services to the site, backed up by successful nationwide advertising and marketing campaigns.

The NORAS 2008 report, the UKís leading source of independent information on the audiences of online recruitment sites, reveals that fish4jobs received 3.26 million Unique Users during October 2007 ñ an increase of 17% (460,000) on the previous NORAS 2007 summer figures1.

The continuing success of fish4jobs as the UKís leading recruitment website is a result of a number of contributing factors which include:

Extended regional reach: fish4jobs has created a strong presence regionally, particular in the North, the Midlands and Wales through shareholder newspapers and a targeted regional radio advertising campaign.

Increased number and variety of jobs: this has fuelled the increase of Unique Users to the site. The number of jobs posted on fish4jobs.co.uk has risen considerably within the last year.

Strong client relationships: the site has a strong portfolio of loyal clients who are continually returning to fish4jobs to advertise new positions. This is due to improved functionality of the site - including a mobile service and a CV search function - and an enhanced staff training programme.

According to Joe Slavin, fish4 CEO, ìThe NORAS 2008 report is a vindication of all the hard work the fish4 team has put in throughout 2007 ñ the company has gone from strength to strength during that time.

ìFor the fourth year running, fish4jobs has the highest number of Unique Users. Weíve displayed our commitment to innovation and to providing a range of first-rate services to our clients. This dedication, together with our impressive regional reach and mass market appeal means that the site promises to go from strength to strength in 2008 as well!î

Richard Foan, managing director of ABC ELECTRONIC comments:
