fish4jobs.co.uk has appointed News International marketer Sean Mahon to take on the newly created role of Marketing Director.
Mahon who was Head of Marketing Strategy for The Sun and News of the World, joined News Group Newspapers four and a half years ago as Direct Marketing Manager. Previously, he worked for The Telegraph Group and was heavily involved in developing their subscription business.
The appointment comes off the back of a record breaking year for fish4jobs, which has seen the site confirmed the UKís most visited online recruitment site by ABCe. The sales team has doubled over this period and there has been considerable investment placed in new marketing initiatives with organisations including Sky TV and Yahoo!
The appointment is part of a strategic management plan by managing director of fish4jobs, Simon Devitt, to aggressively grow the site as the UKís number one.
