For the second year running, Fish4jobs and The Daily Mirror will be touring the UK in a bright orange double decker bus bringing local jobs and practical career advice to jobseekers.
From Saturday 16th June, the bus will set up free one-day job fairs in Bromley, Cardiff, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and Newcastle before finishing in Glasgow eight days later.
Local employers onboard with the roadshow team include British Gas, Barclays, National Express, Manchester United, TalkTalk, npower, Hillarys Blinds, Lifetime Fitness Academy and Fostering Solutions.
Career support on offer includes: a free professional CV review from the Fish4jobs team, CV templates, interview tips and bespoke advice for jobseekers including school leavers, graduates, Mums returning to work and those wishing to shift careers.
Channel 4’s Fairy Jobmother and recruitment expert Hayley Taylor will be joining the team in Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. She comments: “This roadshow is really important because the job market is still tough and by being able to spend quality face-to-face time with jobseekers we can deliver the right advice and support.
“Our recruitment experts from Fish4jobs, as well as employers promoting their local vacancies will allow jobseekers to access the right advice for their career and help them progress in their job search.”
The roadshow is supported by The Daily Mirror and Trinity Mirror's regional newspapers including Birmingham Mail, Liverpool Echo, Manchester Evening News and Newcastle Evening Chronicle who are promoting the roadshow to their communities.
