Firstgroup appoints group human resources director

FirstGroup, the UKís leading transportation company, has confirmed the appointment of John Evans in the role of Group Human Resources Director.

John joins the transport giant from Strathclyde Police where he held the position of Director of Human Resources. He has previously enjoyed successful HR roles at Diageo and British Airways.

John graduated with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and achieved an MBA in 1992. He is also a Fellow Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
