FirstAssist appoints new Group Personal Accident and Travel Manager

FirstAssist, the leading health and wellbeing solutions provider, has appointed Paul Atkinson as its new Group Personal Accident and Travel Manager. Bringing a wealth of experience in accident and health insurance cover, Paul will be instrumental in developing FirstAssistís market leading solutions for these areas of the business.

Prior to joining FirstAssist, Paul fulfilled a variety of roles at Sun Alliance, AIG and Danish insurer, Tryg Baltica International. Over his 19 year career, Paul has developed an in-depth understanding of the personal accident and travel sectors. He is relishing the challenge of developing Group Personal Accident business for FirstAssist and expanding upon its existing excellent reputation in the Travel scheme business and entering into the Business travel sector.

Paul says of his new role, FirstAssist aims to offer more than just a financial response in the event of an accidental death or injury to one of its insured persons. Through the provision of advice and assistance services, underpinned by sound insurance policies, we can help our clients demonstrate their concern for the wellbeing of their staff.
