FE Careers and FE News partner with the College Marketing Network

FE Careers and their sister site www.FENews.co.uk have announced today their Alliance with the College Marketing Network. This is yet another alliance that FE Careers has forged with a Further Education body. This is now the sixth Further Education body that FE Careers and FE News are now working with.

The College Marketing Network was formed in 1986 to provide support and benefits for marketing staff in the further education system. The College Marketing Network consists of Marketers within Further Education, with members in most FE Colleges and Sixth Form Colleges.

The College Marketing Network, www.FECareers.co.uk and FE News will be working in alliance on several ventures, Rachel Smith from the College Marketing Network will be writing a monthly Exclusive Column for FE News. College Marketing Network members will be entitled to discounted advertising rates on FE Careers, access to submit video clips and short movies on www.FEVideo.co.uk (the FE Video website launched by FE Careers earlier this year) and the new Press Release service on FE News.

This is yet another interesting alliance developed by FE Careers, with yet more value added services on offer to FE & Work Based Learning job seekers. FE Careers web visitors now have the choice of viewing the latest Further Education job vacancies, as well as the latest News in Further Education (soon with 4 different news sources), contribute or view FE Video clips and keep up to date with information on the latest Further Education events, conferences and exhibitions.

This is a timely partnership announcement by the College Marketing Network, FE Careers and FE News. Both FE Careers and FE News are going through major web developments (we are told that their re-design and overhaul is the largest for 3 years). FE Careers will be launching their new updated and re-designed website at the end of March. FE News is also going through major developments and will be launched by the end of next week.

These are all due to job seeker and advertiser suggestions. The timing of the College Marketing Network announcement has meant that we can also add several other features that will benefit both our website visitors, advertisers and FE alliance partners. With FE News we will now be able to offer our FE job seekers and FE News readers a unique one stop shop for the latest advertised job vacancies, news, events and video clips in education.
