Global IT services company, FDM, today announced that it has appointed Jonathan Wright, the former Group Managing Director of the Alexander Mann Group, to its board as a non-executive director. The appointment comes as FDM looks to strengthen its management team ahead of a significant programme of business development.
During his time at Alexander Mann, Jonathan was responsible for overseeing significant revenue and profit growth across the companyís key markets. His expertise culminated in the company securing one the sectorís largest private equity deals.
Chief Executive of FDM, Rod Flavell, explained: We have known Jonathan for a number of years and have been impressed by his track record of achieving growth and attracting new investment. FDM has a unique customer value proposition and is now at a size where the business can be taken to the next level. We are now in a strong position to seize further market share from a number of conventional staffing companies in our sector. Jonathan will bring experience and direction to this programme of expansion.
Jonathan commented on his appointment: I have always been interested in FDMís operating model. The company truly differentiates itself both in terms of its service offering and its ability to sustain premium margins and achieve growth, even in difficult markets. I think the company will continue to attract a lot of attention in the future, as its hybrid consulting and staffing model increasingly becomes first choice for many leading companies.
