Global IT services company, FDM has launched the UK’s first ’straight through’ recruitment service, targeting Investment Banks and Investment institutions working specifically within the Equity Derivatives sector.
FDM has established a specialist financial division with a roster of highly trained IT financial staff at the industry’s disposal, all of whom have graduated from FDM’s award-winning training Academy in Java or .Net skills.
In addition to IT training in Oracle, Unix and Microsoft SQL Server, graduates also pass The Investment Administration Qualification (IAQ), a practitioner-lead programme designed to equip them with an overview of the financial services industry and its regulation. Modules on ’Introduction to Securities and Investment’ and ’OTC Derivative Administration’ are also covered as part of their comprehensive training.
