Britainís largest jobs fair, Careers and Jobs Live, is back at ExCeL London providing a variety of opportunities for visitors of all ages and backgrounds including the general workforce, young people, unemployed, overseas workers, career professionals, graduates and under graduates.

The event this Spring is set to highlight new opportunities brought to the local area through regeneration projects in the London and Thames Gateway including the 2012 Olympics Stratford City, Silvertown Quays and O2 Dome with focus also on key industry sectors including Construction, Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism, Retail.

Careers and Jobs Live, supported by Archant one of the UKís leading newspaper publishing houses, offers the chance for individuals to meet face to face with potential employers/trainers enabling visitors to explore a variety of career opportunities. Brand new to the event this year will be the Learning and Skills Council Training Village ñ several exhibitors will be on hand to help the upskilling and training of visitors and their families. Currently there is a skill shortage in several sectors in the South East and the event looks to help encourage people to ìAim for the Starsî.

More than 100 top name exhibitors are expected at this yearís event with confirmed exhibitors including British Gas, London Fire Brigade, East Thames Housing Trust, Tesco, London Borough of Newham, Chartered Surveyors Training Trust, Newham College, NATS, London Hotel and Events School, HBOS, University of East London and O2 Dome.
