In a bid to extend its reach into local government, human capital management company, Penna Plc has appointed David Weir to its Interim Management division as Sector Head, Local Government.
Weirís appointment will further enhance Pennaís expertise in placing interim managers across the public sector.
With considerable experience in providing senior contractors and interim managers to all business sectors across the public and not-for-profit sectors, Weir has joined Penna from Lawson Bishop, a niche provider of senior finance professionals to the public sector. Whilst there, he grew its central government business and expanded its operations to deal with European inter-governmental organisations.
