ExecuNet offers free speed search

first event to bring speed to job search

First came speed dating - for the lovelorn in a rush. Then came speed networking - for career-minded fast friends. Now ExecuNet, a leader in executive-level job and networking opportunities, asks executives to join them in the first Speed Search.

Speed Search will unite recruiters with executives seeking to make a transition or expand their network. During each event, selected executives will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to recruiters through a series of timed, five-minute meetings.

Speed Search is designed to provide executives with an opportunity to start building relationships with recruiters - a key component to proactive career management, says Dave Opton, CEO and Founder of ExecuNet. The event also provides executive recruiters with an opportunity to meet top talent they may not yet know.

The first Speed Search session will be dedicated to financial services executives in the NY metropolitan area with $150,000 earning potential. Participation is free of charge and open to both employed and unemployed professionals.

For over fifteen years ExecuNet has been a keen observer of the interaction between executives and recruiters, says Mark Anderson, President of ExecuNet. With the executive employment market poised for recovery, our Speed Search meeting series will help jump start these interactions at a time when it’s meaningful.

To participate, executives should send their resumes to the following email address: execunet-resumes@ccmthinkindependent.com.

Recruiters will select the Speed Search participants they wish to meet with during the event based on pre-screened resume submissions.

The first Speed Search meeting will be conducted on:
October 7, 2003
6 - 8 p.m.
at
Flatotel
135 W. 52nd Street
New York, NY
A networking reception will follow the formal agenda for further feedback and interaction.
