Executives using exec-appointments.com are the most experienced and highest paid of internet jobsite users questioned in the latest national survey.
The figures, from the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey (NORAS) of 24 leading online recruitment sites, come as exec-appointments.com is given a top-three world-wide ranking for executive jobsites and the website is shortlisted for four industry awards.
Betty Thayer, chief executive of exec-appointments.com, said: ìThis has been a fantastic year for exec-appointments.com and we are delighted by these results. We have grown steadily, we continue to attract the highest calibre candidates and in our peer group we are the only company not to have the backing of a large plc. Some of our competitors have around 200 staff and we are a team of eight. We really are David leading the Goliaths in the industry.î
The NORAS results show that 83 per cent of exec-appointments.comís audience has over 11 yearsí work experience and candidates earn nearly 50 per cent more than those in the next comparable site.
Key results for exec-appointments.com from NORAS are:
97 per cent are over 25 years old ñ they are experienced and more suitable for managerial positions
83 per cent have over 11 yearsí experience
two out of three users are senior managers and above
users earn nearly 50 per cent more than the next comparable site
87 per cent are AB professionals
more users have a professional qualification than comparable sites
97 per cent are looking for a new or additional job, or are ìopen to opportunitiesî ñ the highest figure recorded of all the sites surveyed
ìThese results prove our unparalleled standing in the online advertising market. exec-appointments.com users are valuable professionals, and for employers this is a huge plus. The research shows that our candidates have generally worked for longer, they are higher up the corporate ladder and they earn more than those using competitor sites. The survey demonstrates conclusively that exec-appointments.com is continuing to attract the best.î
The NORAS results come as new data is expected to show that spending on internet advertising is growing rapidly, with one of the main drivers being recruitment. The results from Interactive Advertising Bureau, to be published this spring, are also likely to confirm that advertising spending on the internet has overtaken radio spend for the first time.
In another industry indicator, exec-appointments.com has beaten off all UK competition to take a top-three world-wide ranking for executive jobsites. The results from TopJobSites.com positions exec-appointments.com as the number three site for executive jobs in the English speaking world, behind two US giants.
Betty Thayer said: ìWe are increasingly playing on a global stage with jobs in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Asia. We provide our clients with an inexpensive and highly effective way to open up new markets and attract a wide variety of candidates.î
In addition to many accolades last year, exec-appointments.com is currently on the shortlist for The Recruiterís best online service award and for Online Recruitmentís innovative online marketing, best online advert and best offline advert awards. Betty Thayer has also been nominated for the personality of the year.
ìexec-appointments.com has the personality and professional standards of a big company,î says Thayer. ìWe have achieved our position through the quality and consistency of our service. We are a smart, focused team. The stream of client testimonials we have is clear recognition that we provide the executive job advertising service of choice for finding senior executives at home and abroad.î
