Right Management announces workshop to assist

HR professionals are commonly challenged to develop a more strategic role within their business but the transactional nature of HR presents ongoing barriers.

HR consultancy, Right Management, is offering a free, half-day development workshop to help professionals understand the factors that limit the impact and influence of HR and to identify some strategies for overcoming these obstacles.

The workshop, led by Rightís Director of Engage and Align Practice in the UK, Sally Russell, will take place on Thursday 31st May 2007 and explore:

Managing the reputation of the HR function within an organisation;
How HR is perceived by key stakeholders;
To what extent senior business partners understand how HR can add value to business decision making;
The role of HR in driving the business strategy to deliver expectations;
The extent to which HR strategy influences organisational business strategy.

The workshop takes place from 09.00 - 12.00 at Right Managementís offices at Rex House, 10 Regent Street, London, SW1Y 4PE, with registration starting at 08:30.
