A Berlin-based recruitment startup has figured out a way for companies to benefit from job applicants they reject.
By referring rejected applicants to StartupCVs, startups gain access to new, relevant candidate profiles.
This also means there is a benefit to the applicant, as they will now have the chance to be found by or apply to over 600 startups.
“We realized that a candidate who might not be a good fit for one startup may be perfect for another,” said Mengühan Ünver, founder of StartupCVs. “Our goal is to re-enter candidates into the market and generate a healthy exchange of candidates between companies.”
In StartupCVs' “One-for-One” program, companies receive a referral link, which they can include in their rejection email.
For every candidate that signs up to StartupCVs via the link, the company gets access to a new profile.
