HR, Training and Recruitment agency Eden Brown has been nominated for two more national awards. They are a finalist in the National Online Recruitment Awards (NORA) Best National Recruitment Agency category as well one of the two remaining finalists in the 2004 Best Innovator Award (supported by The Business newspaper and A.T. Kearney).
The NORAs are hosted by AlljobsUK.com, the only comprehensive online portal to every recruitment resource in the UK.
Given its independence and position at the centre of the recruitment industry, AlljobsUK.com has established the authority and credibility to preside over such an event. The NORA’s are now established as the definitive public awards within the online recruitment industry with the finalists being nominated by jobseekers themselves.
ìIt is a great honour to be selected,î says Eden Brown Communications Manager Katherine Grigg. ìThe big difference with the NORAís is the selection procedure. Although it is always nice to be recognised by your peers, the real value is seeing that same distinction where it really counts ñ among the jobseekers themselves.î
Over 300 firms from across Europe entered the 2004 Best Innovator Award with over 40 of these coming from the UK. The awards aim to search out, identify and promote the qualities, characteristics and practices of truly successful product and service innovation and to recognise those firms with exceptional innovation management skills.
ìWe were delighted to be narrowed down to the top 20 firms in the previous round of the competition so this announcement has come as a terrific surprise,î adds Grigg. ìWin or lose, to receive all this acknowledgment at the same time has served as a real motivator to everyone in the company.î
