International search and selection firm, Eames Consulting Group (Eames) today announces the expansion of its business in Asia with a new office opening in Hong Kong.
This brings the company’s global footprint to four locations, complementing its existing presence in London, Zurich and Singapore.
Guy Day, Group COO, who will relocate to Hong Kong to oversee the launch, said:
“This is a natural step for the company on the back of very solid progress in the South East Asia market. The new office in Hong Kong will complement our presence in Singapore and we expect to quickly leverage on existing client relationships and further develop our service offering in North Asia.”
Eames is also pleased to announce that Charles Rue has joined the business as Associate Director, Hong Kong to head up the office’s insurance division. Previously, Charles spent 10 years in Japan working in financial services recruitment and was most recently with Page Executive in Hong Kong where he specialised exclusively in the insurance market.
Additionally, Eames’ internal audit recruitment specialist, Hazel Rowe will take on a regional remit responsible for building the current audit offering across the financial services market, travelling frequently between Singapore, where she is currently based and the new office in Hong Kong.
Day commented on both appointments:
“I am delighted we have attracted Charles to the business. He has an intimate understanding and passion for the insurance sector and has particular expertise in recruiting senior level positions in North Asia across areas such as actuarial, claims, underwriting and general management. He will also play an instrumental part in attracting more talent to the Eames office in Hong Kong.
“Hazel’s expanded remit in the very active internal audit segment will quickly have an impact in what is a truly regional candidate and client market. She has made a swift impact in Singapore and we expect this to continue in Hong Kong.”
