Liz Berkin has been involved with recruitment of all grades of doctors for over 20 years and seen considerable change. Following the well-publicised failure of a national recruiting process in 2007, she became involved with the development of an on-line recruitment system. The Royal College of Physicians now runs a trusted, respected and efficient online recruitment system for 18 medical specialties, handling over 4000 applications annually.
