Diversity in action

Learning Inc. takes Diversity training to a whole new level

Learning Inc. have just launched a dynamic and highly effective e-learning resource, to complement and enhance their training and bespoke production services.

Diversity in Action takes a strategic but accessible look at how organisations can achieve real business benefits from their commitment to understanding diversity. The new e-learning resource uses a high quality video based story to drive an adult centred flexible and fun learning experience.

Presented by dynamic TV presenter and Para Olympian Ade Adepitan, the programme advances practical principles and exercises that explain and make relevant the issues and ideas surrounding diversity in the modern workplace.

The need to understand Diversity has become an important driver for small and large organisations alike. Despite this need and legal requirements to address diversity issues many organisations still donít understand the core principals of whatís expected or required of them. Diversity in Action will help organisations and the individuals in them see why diversity matters to them.

Learning Inc. have years of experience making some of the most exciting and innovative media led diversity training programs for organisations like CENTREX (formerly National Police Training) Video Arts, DEFRA and UFI (Learn Direct). This experience has culminated in a revolutionary approach to helping organisations realise the opportunities and benefits understating diversity can bring.

Warren Deer, Learning Incís Director of Learning, says that:

ìWith Diversity in Action Learning Inc. are hoping to revolutionise and enliven the diversity training market. The new interactive video based e-learning resource is only one part of an integrated suite of related products and services. The prevailing view in many organisations is still influenced by an old-fashioned understanding of Equal opportunities where diversity is seen solely as a compliance issue and we want to change this. Diversity is relevant to every individual and every organisation. We want to help make these benefits a reality for as many organisations as we can.î

Warren continues:
ìWe know itís possible to make diversity into a competitive advantage, but doing it depends on developing a deeper level of understanding and commitment. The big bang events many organisations run simply arenít going to do it. We are offering DVD based trainer support, live training events and now a media rich e-learning product that will take our message to the desktop. Real change takes a sustained commitment and this is what were are supporting. We think itís the first time anyone has provided an end to end solution of this kind.î
