DiscoverOrg, the leading sales and marketing intelligence solution, has acquired iProfile, the pioneer of sales intelligence for the technology industry. The acquisition combines iProfile’s comprehensive global professional contact and sales intelligence database with DiscoverOrg’s proprietary sales intelligence and analytics.
With the acquisition of iProfile, DiscoverOrg becomes the first global provider of sales intelligence, including expanded EMEA coverage and a new Asia Pacific and Latin America database. The move reinforces DiscoverOrg’s commitment to being a truly global, high-quality sales and marketing intelligence solution.

Founded in 1993, iProfile focuses on providing a deep and accurate level of insight on companies’ IT departments. Since its inception, iProfile has built an impressive client roster that includes many leading technology companies, such as Adobe, CSC, Dell, and IBM.

Through the acquisition, DiscoverOrg establishes a presence in Austin, Texas, one of the country’s fastest growing technology hubs. Backed by Global Growth Private Equity Firm TA Associates, the company announced it planned to hire 150 additional employees to help build out additional datasets earlier this year. DiscoverOrg is a three-time Inc. 500 company, and has grown 675 percent since 2011.
