Staffing companies looking to cut costs by converting into paperless organizations are increasingly turning to TempWorks Softwareís outsourced solutions, driving the Minnesota-based technology company to undertake an aggressive expansion of its office and server infrastructure.
Staffing companies with little internal technology beyond an internet connection can obtain a 100 percent paperless environment with the outsourced solutions, streamlining operations from employee intake to job order processing and payroll. The solution also appeals to staffing companies tired of the upgrade treadmill and the unseen costs of recruiting and retaining an IT staff.
The market for paperless solutions has reached an inflection point, says TempWorks CEO, Gregg Dourgarian. It’s no longer an option. Only staffing companies that can drive down costs for their clients will survive. Dourgarian has championed AJAX technology, which has made client-facing web applications fast and easy to use.
Construction is slated to begin in the second quarter of this year and will involve a renovation of TempWorksí current office space as well as merging considerable new space from an adjacent suite to triple the size of its current server room, include additional workspaces and create a larger training facility.
ìRedundancy and availability are the top two goals for our hosting division. With the increased space in our server room and collaboration with our vendors and ISPs, we can take full advantage of our new resources and deliver peace of mind to our customers that their data will be safe, secure, and always available,î said Paul Czywczynski, Chief Technology Officer for TempWorks.
A steady increase in accounts and heightened demand for the multiple new web applications developed during 2006 and released in 2007 also enforced the decision to enhance space. The complete rebuild of the TempWorks client, employee and applicant portal suite, WebCenter fx, was released at the close of 2006. TempWorks opened 2007 with releases of DocCenter, an electronic form management application, and TwCentral, a management dashboard displaying on-demand data.
