US companies including Salesforce.com among them are said to be violating EU Data Transfer deal. This comes as a major blow as Data sharing between Europe and the US is jeopardised as Safe Harbour ruled invalid on 6th October 2015.
A legal challenge from an Australian law student (Max Schrems) causes chaos after information from Edward Snowden revealed that the US government and the NSA (National Security Agency) were stealing data & intercepting emails as far back as 2013, which the European Court of Justice (ECJ) used as part of the judgement.
