CWJobs.co.uk recently sponsored the ATSCo Championship Quiz in aid of NSPCC Childline. Attended by recruitment companies UK wide and held at the prestigious Caf Royal in Piccadilly, the evening proved to be a great success.

Ann Swain, ATSCoís Chief Executive, oversaw proceeding as quiz master where she administered questions testing not only the attendeesí general knowledge, but their senses as well, covering subjects such as perfume, wine and jelly bean flavours!

Fundraising activities on the night included a silent auction, raffle, lucky dip and rollerskating ëshotí girls - each ensuring the attendees gave generously with the incredible prizes on offer. These included entry into the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth Golf Club, signed cricket shirt and football, Apple iTouch and a yearís supply of cider.

Included within the activities was the Nintendo Wii competition which CWJobs.co.uk ran throughout the night. Competitive play consumed the interval raising money per game and rivalries throughout the assembled crowd. With a score of 276, Jonathan Ellerbeck of Pathway Resourcing was declared the winner (after a tense face off for the top spot) and presented with the Wii by Richard Nott, Website Director of CWJobs.co.uk.

Richard Nott commented ìWe were proud to sponsor this fantastic event helping such a worthwhile cause. Our thanks go to ATSCo and the NSPCC Childline for organising the evening.î

Richard and his team were also celebrating their own personal triumph having generated over 300,000 job applications per month in both January and February. This achievement set a new record for CWJobs.co.uk and one which they hope to replicate throughout 2008.
