The IT job specialists website CWJobs.co.uk has been re-launched, completely rebranded and redesigned introducing a new logo, new colours and a new platform. The site boasts over a dozen new functions developed to make a vast improvement to its performance for both jobseekers and recruiters.
Jobseekers can now benefit from new areas on the site including a ëfilter and refineí function to help find the jobs most relevant to their needs, a ëjobs basketí section which gives them the option to apply for multiple jobs at once and additional information on the company hiring, to help make a more informed career decision. Jobseekers can even benefit from other jobseeker searches with links to show what other positions they also applied for.
Recruiters are able to showcase their company and vacancies by branding their jobs with a different colour according to their own style, increasing brand awareness and candidate interest.
The re-branding exercise started in July when jobseekers and recruiters were asked about what was important to them when using CWJobs.
ìIt has been a very tight build windowî, says TotalJobs Group technical project manager Dale Matthews, ìbut despite the office being dismantled around us we still managed a seamless transition from the old platform to the new; with minimal downtime and disruption.î
CWJobs sales director, Richard Nott adds: ìThis has been a fantastic opportunity for us. The sales and marketing teams have been in contact with all our clients, ensuring they were aware of the changes, and what it means to them. As a result, we now have better job postings with more accurate salary and location matching. This means giving our jobseekers more accurate results, and in turn means our recruiters will receive more accurate applications.î
Marketing managers Susan Tremain and Greg Baines have created an information site for recruiters and jobseekers at www.cwjobsisevolving.co.uk
ìWe felt there was a need for more detailed product information, says Tremain, ìespecially as more functionality improvements are planned for 2006, and by creating this site, jobseekers and recruiters alike have a useful point of reference.î
