Conference Will Offer Unique Insights from Vurv Clients and Industry Experts on Workforce Management Issues

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Vurv Technology, formerly Recruitmax, a leading global provider of technology and services for building great workforces, today announced further details about the Company’s 4th annual user conference. Entitled the Vurv Revolution: An Inspiring User Conference, it will be held from May 21 to May 24 at Walt Disney World’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

This much anticipated event will draw some of the most revolutionary thinkers in workforce management and business today. Vurv customers, partners, industry experts, business gurus and workforce management luminaries will gather at the world’s most famous entertainment location to experience the industry’s most inspiring exchange of strategic business best practices, trends in integrated workforce management technology, and real world success stories.

The user conference last year at the Wynn Resort was fantastic. It is always a great opportunity to learn from my peers in other organizations, commented Scott Johnson, director of staffing and recruitment for Culligan International. The conference offers a great balance between learning about cutting edge technology, peer company best practices, and networking opportunities. I am expecting history to repeat itself and bring new ideas back to my organization. The Vurv user conference has always been a destination that I won’t miss.

The original revolutionary thinker, Guy Kawasaki, columnist for Forbes.com, CEO of garage.com, and author of 8 best selling business books, including Rules for Revolutionaries, will kick off Vurv’s user conference with a motivating look into what it takes to battle the resistance to change and truly make a difference. Best known for his days as chief evangelist at Apple Computer, Inc., Guy will share his battle-tested lessons and show how revolutionaries become visionaries. Guy commented, The two most important things about people on a revolutionary team are their ability and their passion.

We are excited to have Guy as a part of our Revolution this year, said Derek Mercer, founder and CEO of Vurv. His thinking aligns perfectly with our business, our culture, and our customers’ drive to put talent at the top of corporate agendas. We look forward to sharing his vision and expertise with our customers.

Making a second appearance at a Vurv user conference, world renowned business guru Rene’ Carayol will emcee the entire event, keeping attendees excited and engaged as they select from over 40 sessions encompassing all aspects of strategic workforce management.

This year’s conference serves up inspiration, insight and ideas from a variety of sources. Vurv customers, including Wynn Resorts, BearingPoint, Culligan International, Baker Hughes International, Acxiom Corporation and Leo Burnett Worldwide, among others, will share success stories and workforce management best practices. Industry experts will discuss cutting edge trends and share insights via panel discussions and sessions hosted by such luminaries as Bill Kutik, a columnist for HR Executive magazine, Lynne Morton, principal of Performance Improvement Solutions, Allen Schweyer, executive director of the Human Capital Institute, Lou Adler, a leading expert on recruiting, Jason Corsello, program manager at the Yankee Group, and Michael Moretti, senior staffing analyst for HR.com. Vurv experts will also be on hand to discuss new technology, product roadmaps, service enhancements and product optimization.

We see this year’s conference as our biggest and best yet, said Mercer. Our conferences always provide the perfect forum for us to collaborate with our customers, get their feedback, empower them with new technology, and execute our vision to unlock the creative energy, talent and passion of their people.

Additional anticipated highlights of the event will include the Vurv Lab, where attendees can experience new technology and product enhancements first hand and take advantage of speed consulting from a variety of industry, product and service experts, as well as a number of networking and entertainment gatherings.
