Countdown to Career Forums commences

Though still more than two months away, the countdown to the next ëCareer Forums ñ Letís Talk Retailí event is well and truly under way. Having established itself as the retail industryís leading retail careers event, Career Forums already has more exhibitors signed up for September than attended in January. Thus far 33 top name retail recruiters have secured their place ñ each looking to tap the quality, careers-minded professionals the events tend to attract.

This incredible client demand is one of the reasons that Career Forums has switched venues. Organiser Adam Tomkinson explained: ìWe were getting interest about the September event even before the January Career Forums had finished! It quickly became obvious that we were going to need a bigger venue.î The decision to move to the Novotel London West in Hammersmith was also influenced by the upcoming opening of Westfieldís massive retail development in White City ñ a stoneís throw from Career Forumsí new home. Adam continued: ìThe excellent transport links to and from Central London, the inevitable recruitment need from retailers opening at Westfield and of course the capacity of the Hammersmith venue made it a perfect choice for us.î

In addition to the fantastic retailers in attendance, Career Forums will host a series of careers-based seminars from professional recruiters and industry experts ñ each designed to help propel attendees up the careers ladder. And, of course, the ever-popular CV Doctor will be on hand with lots of useful hints and tips.
