Concept IT, the leading supplier of field and installation engineering staff, has moved its headquarters to prestigious new state-of-the-art offices in Dudley West Midlands. The offices are situated on the 47-acre Castle Gate Business Park development, to where some of the UKís leading hi-tech and finance companies have already moved alongside organisations such as Rentokil Initial, Comino and Travelodge.
The offices were officially opened by Ian Austin MP on Friday 25th May who commented: ìConcept IT has achieved remarkable growth through the delivery of high levels of service and a commitment to meeting client needs for every assignment. It is clear that the company is destined to become the UKís leading supplier of technical field staff and we are delighted that it has chosen Dudley for its new headquarters. This is a real boost for our local economy.î
Also present at the opening was Dr. Gareth Osborne, a previous Managing Director of the UKís Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), the professional association for the 26 billion agencies industry in the United Kingdom. He added that: ìConcept IT has already made an impressive mark on the IT recruitment marketplace and their rapid growth is testament to that. They are setting high standards for staff and candidates and focusing on maintaining an ethical and professional service for clients. In a growing marketplace this investment in new facilities, at just the right time, makes them a company to watch in the region.î
Concept IT has made a significant investment in fitting out the new building, which includes offices, meeting rooms and rest areas to provide an ideal workplace environment for staff operating in an extremely competitive marketplace. It has also installed a new high-speed IT infrastructure that will deliver rapid access to the UKís largest database of field and technical support specialists.
Concept IT has recently reported record results for 2006 with turnover up by more than 165% at 2.4 million. During this period, the company has doubled the number of staff employed and outgrown the old offices in Castle Street from where it has been operating since 2003.
According to Chris Short, Managing Director of Concept IT: ìOur new headquarters building in Castle Gate gives us the additional space required as we continue to expand our operations to meet the growing need for permanent and contract IT staff throughout the UK. We plan to recruit a further twenty-five staff over the next year from the local area. This will include a number of trainees as well as specialist consultants and support staff with direct experience of the industries that we serve.î
