Recent developments at FPSG have led to John Scott, Associate Director, being charged with an expanded remit to include responsibility for the TEC Group arm of First People Solutions Group.
The TEC Group services the Technical, Engineering and Construction markets, and includes the First People Aviation division. The promotion was attributed to Johnís commitment and outstanding contribution to FPSG through successful management of the aviation division over the past four years.
Johnís focus is the Scottish element of TEC Group, and he has already implemented a number of changes clarifying the groupís specialisms into five distinct teams, Oil & Gas, Oil & Gas Trades, Construction Professional, Construction Trades and First People Aviation to complement their clientís requirements. The brand associated with FPSGís TEC Group is also being evolved to both bring it in line with FPSGís new image and better represent the variety of specialist markets the teamsí service.

These are rapidly expanding industries and we expect to reflect this in successfully continuing our well reputed delivery of recruitment services by the TEC Group specialist teams.î
In order to deliver with this new structure, there have been two internal promotions, Rebecca Devine and Lee Anderson to managing consultants and a new appointment has been made welcoming John OíNeill as senior consultant in the Oil & Gas team. A number of further appointments are also expected over the coming months with Johnís aim to further grow the team by up to 30%.
In addition, FPSG has also invested in new recruitment software for the TEC group and will also be launching a new website to provide recruitment services for their markets.
