Chairman Charles adopts psychology mind-set

Business psychology company Robertson Cooper has appointed Charles Halle as executive chairman.

Business psychology company Robertson Cooper has appointed Charles Halle as executive chairman.

Halle, who has a strong track record in technology sector senior management, was recruited by the Manchester-based business to inject sales and marketing expertise at board level.

Aged 53, Halle joins Robertson Cooper ñ the UKís fastest growing business psychology company ñ with a remit to drive expansion in the technology-based HR products market.

Halle is also a non-executive director at ICM Computer Group and chairman designate at Predictive Solutions. Previously he was CEO at Armature/Lawson Software and Vocalis Group plc, after a career spanning 23 years at IBM.

ìRobertson Cooper has been very successful since it was spun out of UMIST in 1999,î says Halle. The business has grown its consultancy revenue and developed some highly successful products. However, as it moves forwards we are looking to build the product portfolio and become a substantive solutions company delivering to the HR and line manager market, with a broad mix of products and consultancy services focused on the wellbeing and performance of people at work.î

A graduate of Sheffield University, Halle is married with two grown-up children and lives in Knutsford, Cheshire.
