Celebrity coach Gladeana McMahon, who has worked with the likes of Big Brother and Bad Ladís Army through to Marks & Spencer and Barclays, has today joined Fairplace to spearhead its brand new executive coaching department.
Gladeana, who is famed in the coaching world for her work with politicians, celebrities, senior business people and the media, has been headhunted in a coup for Fairplace chief executive Michael Moran ñ who himself only joined the company six months ago.
CEO Michael Moran said: ìWhen I took the reigns at Fairplace in August I recognised our need for an executive coaching offer. Securing the services of such an experienced and well respected coach as Gladeana is a real coup.
ìCompanies are increasingly recognising employee coaching as a way to deliver better performance and demand for coaching has increased dramatically in recent years. Four out of five organisations now offer their employees access to executive coaching, according to the latest CIPD Training and Development Survey, and the market is expected to grow further next year. With Gladeana on board, Fairplace will soon be able to offer one of the UKís leading coaching facilities.î
Gladeana is highly regarded throughout the coaching world. She is listed as one of the UKís top ten Coaches by the Independent on Sunday and holds esteemed positions within several leading coaching associations. She is vice president of the Association for Coaching, sits on the Ethics Committee and Standards Interest Group of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council and is co-director for the Centre for Coaching. She is also the author of 16 internationally published coaching, counselling and mentoring books.
Speaking of her appointment Gladeana said: ìMichael has given me free reign to build a brand new executive coaching department at Fairplace. This new position of Head of Executive Coaching gives me complete control to construct a tailor-made, dedicated coaching service at Fairplace.
ìTogether with my team of fifteen accredited coaches, all of whom are recognised by the Association for Coaching, I am designing a service specifically for our clientsí needs. This appointment represents an exciting opportunity, both for me and for Fairplace.î
