Callidus Software Recaps TrueConnectionô 2004 Success

Premier Forum for EIM Industry Knowledge-sharing Boasts Record Attendance

Callidus Software Inc. (Nasdaq: CALD), the industry leader in Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM), today recapped the enormous success of its fourth annual user conference, TrueConnection 2004. More than 350 Callidus customers, partners and prospects from 82 companies and eight partner organizations attended the four-day invitation-only event in Carlsbad, CA, making it the largest Callidus user conference to date. TrueConnection 2004 focused on best practices for turning incentive compensation strategies into increased revenue and profits, and included presentations from companies such as Accenture, IBM, Deloitte Consulting, CUNA Mutual, Novell, AT&T Wireless, Citizens Bank and DIRECTV.

Education and Knowledge-sharing

TrueConnection 2004, the EIM industryís only user-based annual conference, featured educational sessions and interactive forums on incentive compensation strategies and real-life implementation case studies across a variety of industries. The peer, regional and industry-focused sessions offered unmatched educational and knowledge-sharing opportunities for leading companies in the financial services, banking, insurance, telecommunications, pharma/life sciences and manufacturing industries.

John Van Decker, vice president with industry analyst firm META Group, offered his insights on compensation and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. In addition, the entire conference enjoyed a joint presentation from former assistant to President George W. Bush, Mary Matalin and political consultant James Carville.

Inaugural Partner Summit

TrueConnection 2004 also featured the first annual Callidus Partner Summit, attended by 25 representatives from Callidus partners including Accenture, IBM, Compensation Technologies, Deloitte Consulting, Iconixx and Quovera. In addition to discussions about product direction and general networking, the Summit featured the unveiling of additional resources and programs to strengthen Callidusí efforts in helping partners meet the demand for the Callidus TrueComp product suite. These enhancements were well-received by the partner organizations, and provided a great foundation for additional individual meetings throughout the rest of the event.
