The inaugural Leading Edge forum will be held on Wednesday, 24 January 2007 at the GO Conference Suite in George Square, Glasgow. Developed by Rockpools, one of the UKís leading talent development consultancies, with its Scottish partner, MJI Business Solutions, the Forum will provide a regular opportunity for Scotlandís future leaders from across the public, private and third sectors, to meet and share best practice, success or frustration with like-minded ambitious individuals. As well as career coaching and development, there will also be opportunities to provide mentoring and to be mentored outside your own professional membership bodies and your own organisation.
Nev Wilkinson, Managing Partner of Rockpools, will be speaking at the event. He said: ìWe want to encourage the delivery of a smart, successful Scotland by building a diverse, courageous and dynamic leadership pool. This Forum will provide the perfect platform for doing so, bringing together some of the brightest talent in Scotland to support them in preparing for their, and the countryís, success.î
MJI Business Solutionsí Chief Executive and Rockpools partner, Melvyn Ingleson, said: ìWe have the combined expertise, experience and passion to support Scotlandís future leaders to find their own personal leading edge and we are fully committed to supporting the next generation of Scotlandís leaders.î
