Onrec.com attended the Softword HR and Payroll Event held at the NEC in Birmingham last week where they hosted a stand that saw them at the centre of the HR Show - a fitting position.
David Hurst, MD of Onrec.com and Online recruitment magazine stated í The show is always of interest to us as it helps us to reach those that maybe just starting an Online recruitment strategy or need assistance in how they can go about providing oneí.

October has been a busy month for the multimedia company, who hosted their own Recruiting in Cyberspace conference (http://www.onrec.com/content2/brussels/pics/pics.html) in Brussels at the start of the month, and will also be present at the CIPD this Wednesday and Thursday.
We are spreading ourselves wide and far these days, with the interest of the industry at heart. We very much want to promote the benefits, and consider ourselves central to providing awareness to the latest developments.í
Onrec.com plan to release their own members area at the beginning of November. Hurst continues íThe launch of our onrec members area is an exciting prospect. We intend to get all those interested in HR, employment and online recruitment issues into one place and allow them to brainstorm. The ideas that will be generated via the tool will be eye opening, and we are confident that the discussions will be of long term benefits to the industry as a wholeí.í
All of this comes on the back of the company winning the E-Business district award for 2004. Hurst explains íWe felt we deserved the success. We have all worked extremely hard this year and we intend to do very well at the regional E-Business awards scheduled for next year.í
