Broadbean go to the House of Commons

Broadbean continues to support the Young Enterprise Make Your Mark campaign this year

Broadbean continues to support the Young Enterprise Make Your Mark campaign this year. The organisation, which encourages a more enterprising culture amongst young people in the UK, enlisted the help of Dan McGuire in 2006 to talk about the recruitment industry and to encourage young people to take an interest in business.

The programme gets young people to set up and run a real company for a year before they are judged on their company reports, trade stands, presentations and innovative skills. Dan has been asked to judge the companies as well as speak at the award ceremony. Dan is delighted to contribute to Young Enterprise as this is one cause that the 26 year old entrepreneur can relate to himself. Dan says, ìIt is still far too common for young entrepreneurs to be greeted with scepticism due to their age and I hope that my own experience shows that it doesnít have to be a barrier to success.î

Dan has been invited to the House of Commons on Thursday 1st February where Young Enterprise, which has grown from 1,500 to 80,000 in just a few years, is celebrating the hard work of participants, teachers and volunteers.
