Brits suffer more heartache over their careers than their love lives, reveals a survey by Jobsite, one of the UKís online recruiters. While 2/3 of UK adults claim to be lucky enough to have found ëthe oneí love of their life, 52% of Brits are in need of career cupids and are still searching for their perfect job.
Reassuringly, all hope is not lost and the majority of Brits (60%) believe that the perfect job does exist ñ itís just rather elusive. To help, Jobsite today launches CVautoMatch, a unique new service that matches you to your perfect job.
The match making begins when a CV is registered and made available for employers to view on www.jobsite.co.uk. If you match the criteria of a position advertised by an employer you are immediately presented to them. The CVs that best match are provided first, swiftly short listing the pool of CVs relevant to a particular vacancy. This means that not only is a jobseekerís chances of being noticed increased, there is less time wasted on potential matches that just arenít right.
A quarter of those who have found their perfect job state they applied for up to 10 positions before having their career dreams fulfilled. Todayís savvy jobseeker now has a swifter path to fulfilling their career dreams.
Cheryl Morgan, Jobsiteís Career Counsellor, comments: ìWe all know how hard it is to find the perfect partner or the perfect job and not many of us are lucky enough to find both. At Jobsite, we believe in helping people to find the perfect job so that their whole life works better. Weíve drawn on our 12 years at the forefront of online recruiting and some of the most sophisticated technology around to create CVautoMatch. It essentially works as a career cupid, matching the content of vacancies posted with CVs detailing the same content. This means jobseekers and employers are able to find each other more quickly and easily than ever before.
ìThe premise is quality not quantity, and we believe jobseekers and their employers will notice an immediate benefit.î
