Breath of fresh air for environment as businesses Encouraged to get dialling

Arkadin today announced the launch of its íArkadinClimateCare Dayí (ACCD), an initiative which encourages businesses to swap business travel in favour of a conference call. Proceeds taken by Arkadin, for a nominated ACCD, are donated to Trees for Cities (www.treesforcities.org) and will specifically be used to plant trees in the UK.

Background
Changing climate conditions and the effect on the environment are topics that concern and affect us all. Increasingly businesses are becoming aware that they too have a responsibility to the environment, but information and simple to implement initiatives are difficult to find. According to Trees For Cities, for every 3,000 miles travelled by an average petrol car we need to plant 4.1 carbon trees to neutralise the environmental impact.

The ACCD
