Blue Arrow steps employee rewards up a gear

High achievers at leading national recruitment firm Blue Arrow now have the opportunity to live life in the fast lane

High achievers at leading national recruitment firm Blue Arrow now have the opportunity to live life in the fast lane.

As part of a new scheme to reward exceptional achievement, Blue Arrow today announced that this yearís top performer, Gary Saville, Sheffield Branch Manager, has won a brand new Porsche Cayman for the year.

Trish Stratford, Blue Arrow Chief Operating Officer, who handed Saville the keys to the sports car, said: ìIt is important to reward staff for outstanding effort. Garyís well-deserved prize recognises the transformation Blue Arrowís Sheffield branch has undergone.

ìWhen Gary started at Sheffield it was one of our lower performing branches. Unfazed, Saville rolled up his sleeves and together with his hard-working team, turned the branch around. Today the Sheffield office is a phenomenal success story, generating more profit than any other branch in the Blue Arrow UK-wide network. Garyís fantastic work is the leading example of outstanding work thatís taken place across the business over the past year.î

Gary Saville said: ìIt is pleasing to see all the hard work that has been accomplished in Sheffield recognised. Iíve really enjoyed overcoming the various challenges that we faced and to receive such a fantastic prize is the icing on the cake.î

Saville was named top performing branch manager at Blue Arrowís 2008 conference. This is the first time such a prize has been awarded to one individual.

In addition to sizeable bonuses, other employee incentives for high achievers include weekend trips to lively European destinations and days at the races. Top performing managers, permanent and temporary consultants in the last half yearís league tables were also announced at the annual conference and the lucky employees will be off to Seville in April.
