The shortlist for the 2012 Association of Professional Staffing Companies (APSCo) Awards for Excellence sponsored by RBS has been unveiled, with the winners to be announced at a lunch on 17th October 2012. These coveted annual awards recognise and award achievement & excellence within the recruitment industry.
The shortlisted companies will attend a Q & A session with the judging panel before they make their final decision. The judging panels will be chaired by Les Clarke, former APSCo chairman and a well respected veteran of the recruitment industry.
The ‘Recruitment Company of the Year’ awards will be judged by Katie Folwell-Davies, a Partner at Deloitte, Chris Clark from Highfield Advisory, Sean Dixon from RBS, and Godfrey Morrell who is an independent consultant to the recruitment industry.
The judging panel for ‘Innovator of the Year’,’ Affiliate Member of the Year’, ‘International Recruitment Company of the Year’ and ‘Recruitment Company with the most Sustainable Growth’ will consist of Simon Kite from Saffery Champness, Martin Reed from Thomas International, Ade McCormack from Auridian Consulting, and Aaron Boland from RBS.
Marilyn Davidson, Director of APSCo, comments: “The standard and sheer volume of entries this year has been higher than ever, and I expect it to be challenging for our judges to make the decision. It was certainly very tough for them to pick the shortlisted companies. All of our finalists have shown a real commitment to the ethos of APSCo and have demonstrated real excellence – they should all be proud of their achievements”.
