Age Positve have announced the recent launch of the Age Positive Recruitment Excellence Awards 2006. Entries are open to recruitment consultancies and individuals across the UK who feel they have demonstrated good practice in eliminating age as a criteria for their recruitment and selection processes. This focus on age comes at a crucial time for recruitment companies, ahead of the proposed age legislation scheduled for October 2006. These awards will seek to recognise and rewards those recruitment agencies or individuals who work within HR that are ahead of their peers and the law.
Deadline for entries is the 20 January 2006 and winners will be announced in March 2006 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
There are five categories: small sized businesses (1-9 employees), medium sized businesses (10-99 employees), large sized businesses (100 employees), best practice in online recruitment and best practice/outstanding activity by an individual.
