Abbey HR director to join CFS Executive

Cathy Wilcher will join Co-operative Financial Services (CFS) Executive as Human Resources Director on the 18th April 2006. She joins CFS from Abbey where she held the position of HR Director, Employee Relations and Reward.

Cathy, aged 41, has extensive senior personnel experience within the Financial, Retail and Service Sectors and will succeed Ken Lewis, who is set to retire from his position as Resources Director after almost two decades with the organisation.

Ken, aged 58, initially joined CFS in 1987 as Human Resources Manager having previously held personnel roles with Massey-Ferguson, Dunlop and Grand Metropolitan.

He was appointed his current position in 2002, with responsibility for Human Resources, Property & Facilities, Procurement & Supplier Management and Legal Services ñ with Executive accountability for CFS Business Continuity, Environmental and Diversity policies.
