A Change in the Management Structure

.

Change Recruitment Group, one of Scotland's largest independent specialist recruitment solutions providers, has created a new management structure, with the appointment of two divisional directors - Katie Drummond and Gavin Sime.

The move is designed to create a new succession structure and bring uniformity to management across to the company's Change division in Edinburgh and Glasgow, dedicated to recruitment in financial services, investment, accounting, finance, human resources and legal sectors.

Katie Drummond will be promoted to human resources and legal divisional director, while Gavin Sime will become accountancy and finance divisional director for Change. They join Neil Campbell, who was promoted to divisional director of financial services earlier in the year.

Commenting on the new management structure, Suzanne Ramsay, chief executive of Change Recruitment Group said: Following the management buyout in 2006, I've been keen to put in place a new structure which creates uniformity across the company's two offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow. At the same time, it also opens up a raft of additional opportunities for staff as they develop in the future.

Ramsay continued: With an strong reputation in a highly competitive market, Gavin's management and business development experience will further enhance the positioning of Change CRS. Katie has had an extremely successful career at Change and this promotion recognises the invaluable input she has made to the business.

Katie Drummond joined the company in 2004 as a senior consultant specialising in human resources and was instrumental in raising the profile of the division and developing the team. With specialist recruitment knowledge across a range of disciplines and an MSC CIPD qualification, Katie has been highly successful in building long-term partnerships with clients and candidates.

Gavin Sime initially was appointed to the Change Solutions division of the Group in 2008 in a business development role. With a background in accountancy, IT and finance and a seven year period in South Africa, working within the IT outsourcing arena, Sime joined the company from Carlyle Associates, where he specialised in senior commercial IT roles and recruitment.

With a blue chip client list that includes Standard Life, Aegon, National Australia Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Morgan Stanley, Scottish Widows, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, Change Recruitment Group underwent a successful management buyout in December 2006 worth 14 million, led by Suzanne Ramsay and backed by private equity bank, NBGI.

The company, which has offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, has 136 consultants working across its four separate divisions and 10 different industry sectors including financial services, HR, legal, accountancy, office support and call centres. It offers international recruitment and project management of high volume recruitment campaigns (RPO) and the provision of outsourced recruitment services.
