4MAT has unveiled some of the key features of its eagerly anticipated recruitment software, DV3.

DV3 is the third version of the companyís successful dotVacancy software, which is the principle driving force behind the hundreds of UK recruitment websites. DV1 was launched in 1999, and was quickly adopted as the preferred platform for recruitment companies and corporate recruiters. DV2 followed in 2002, with significant improvements in scalability and customisation. Now DV3, which is planned for launch in early 2008 is set to open further potential for the expanding online market place.

DV3 has been 3 years in development, with an estimated 40,000 hours of development time and over 800k in resources. It is set to be the most complete and robust recruitment software on the market. James Saunders, Managing Director of 4MAT says:

ìThe company was founded on its ability to provide software solutions for the recruitment industry. Since 1997, we have continually been improving and developing the original concept and we are now close to launching something exceptional.î

DV3ís development has closely mirrored wider changes in web capability in each of its versions. DV1 enabled simple web presence, and was right for the Web 1.0 experience. DV2 was part of the interactive Web 2.0 generation, enabling recruiters and candidates to share information. Now DV3 will take the capabilities of recruiters to new levels as web 3.0 emerges as the predominant standard for web users everywhere.

Meetu Mirpuri, Client Services Director of 4MAT adds:

ìWeb 3.0 is about enabling computer to computer communication and DV3 will empower recruiters to reach larger numbers of candidates through integration with social networking sites and other industry specific hubs.î
