Just weeks after launching in the UK and Ireland MyAdBase has registered 150 media profiles across all sectors of the advertising media industry. Consumer and business titles, newspapers, new media and Internet, radio, TV and outdoor media are all catching on to the new potential MyAdBase gives sellers of advertising space.
Andrew Long, co-founder of Admedia Solutions, explains why myadbase.com has seen such a diverse interest from media sellers in the UK and Ireland. ìWe offer a unique service that no other advertising marketplace can give to media related businesses in the UK. Media sellers and related suppliers are always seeking new ways for potential buyers to find their products and services. We give them a real ëshop windowí for their products along with a whole host of complementary services.î
All media sellers have to do is register, add ëmedia profileí pages for each of their media and then take advantage of other free services including ëindustry linksí, ëindustry newsí and banner advertising on the MyAdBase site.
MyAdBase is on schedule to launch ’Storefront Direct’ in the Spring of 2005. This new service will give all media sellers the chance to sell advertising space through an auction or fixed price method. The process will be fully automated and the seller will be in control of authorising the transaction at all times. They confirm which buyers can purchase the space and MyAdBase charges a nominal five percent commission fee 45 days after the issue or display date of the chosen media.
ìMyAdBase will soon be the only online advertising sales marketplace that buyers, sellers and suppliers will need. We plan to build more alliances with forward thinking media and advertising companies, as well as providing our services in many other countries around the world. The media sales revolution is certainly on course,î Andrew concluded.
