CEOs and business leaders grappling with how AI will reshape their workforce are being invited to put their questions directly to senior technology experts at a live event in London this November.
A panel of ten senior AI and technology figures will come together for Beyond Headcount Live, exploring how businesses should be planning their workforces for 2027 and beyond.
The free event, hosted by tech and transformation specialist La Fosse, comes as organisations face increasingly complex decisions about how quickly to adopt AI, where to invest in skills and technology, and how existing roles and teams may need to evolve.
Rather than focusing on predictions about how many jobs AI could create or replace, Beyond Headcount Live will look at the decisions businesses are already having to navigate – across capabilities, hiring decisions and headcount plans for a workforce being reshaped rapidly by technology.
On Wednesday 4 November, the event will bring together La Fosse’s AI Workforce Council for a live, unrehearsed discussion before opening the floor to questions from the audience.
The Council includes C-suite leaders from McDonald’s, Mars, ITV and Beazley, and was originally brought together to explore how organisations should approach workforce planning for 2027 and beyond, with its findings forming La Fosse’s Beyond Headcount Blueprint.
The live event will turn that research into an open conversation, giving C-suite executives and senior leaders the opportunity to bring the workforce questions they are facing inside their own organisations directly to the panel.
The panel on the day will include:
- Hiten Parmar, Chief Procurement Officer, Beazley
- Monica Verma, AI Adviser and CISO, Monica Talks Cyber
- Alex Bissett-Powell, CTO, McDonald’s UK
- Ben Collis, ex-VP People, Deliveroo
- Barry Sacks, CTO, La Fosse
Ollie Whiting, CEO at La Fosse, said: “There is a huge amount of noise around AI right now, and understandably that can make it difficult for business leaders to know what they should actually be doing.
“The reality is that nobody has all the answers. AI is moving quickly, different organisations are at very different stages, and there isn’t a single blueprint that every business can simply follow.
“That’s exactly why we gathered the AI Workforce Council to help create our workforce blueprint for 2027. This was designed to start a much bigger conversation about the decisions leaders need to be making now, and to offer some guidance and structure to follow.”
“Beyond Headcount Live is the next part of that conversation. We want leaders to bring the questions they’re grappling with, challenges they’re facing, and hear how other leaders are approaching the same issues.”

Beyond Headcount Live will be hosted by La Fosse Chief Marketing Officer Lucy Kemp and CEO Ollie Whiting from 6pm on Wednesday 4 November 2026 at Tower Suites by Blue Orchid, 100 Minories, London EC3N 1JY.
The event is aimed at C-suite executives and senior leaders in UK technology and tech-enabled businesses responsible for workforce planning, capability building or organisational design.
