Kevin Brady discusses AdView’s New Publisher Program

For any job site, big or small, new or established, identifying and securing effective traffic sources is key. As long as the traffic remains targeted and consistent, conversions will follow.

I’ve recently talked about some of the ways job boards can increase their traffic through aggregators, among other means. One other common method of generating job seeker traffic is through advertising. However this often causes issues.

When businesses display third party content on their site for advertising purposes, it’s often felt that what the site gains in revenue, it loses in terms of the overall user experience.

Is there a way around this? Probably not. There are a number of reasons for this - one of the main ones being that sites are usually unable to alter the content of their ads. This frequently leads to them sitting uneasily on the web page; they can even increase a site's bounce rate and lower conversions.

Not only that, but how likely is it for users to click on, say, an MPU banner that looks out of place or is irrelevant to the site’s content? Recent data suggests that advertisers are wasting hundreds of millions on ads that aren’t seen.

At AdView we’ve just released our new AdView Publisher Program. This is a new and exciting opportunity for business owners to make extra income from their websites, blogs or newsletters whilst adding a quality service to their users.

For those who are unfamiliar with the concept, the publisher is the one who gets paid for showing the ads. Or to be more specific, for driving traffic to the hosts, who in turn benefit from the traffic increase.

The best thing about it is is that it’s very, very simple. AdView gives you content to show job ads on your website and pays up to 80% for all clicks and impressions.

We also offer a number of tools to give webmasters complete control and flexibility in ensuring that the job ads compliment the design and feel of their website.
