Hightekers

Hightekers was founded in 2016 in France and the UK, with a simple mission: help freelancers get the security of full-time employment without giving up their independence. Freelancing has always come with a trade-off between stability and freedom, and Hightekers was built to remove it — becoming the freelancer's employer, handling contracts, payroll and admin, and turning what would otherwise be overhead into higher take-home pay, real benefits and security.

Since then, Hightekers has expanded across several countries worldwide and now operates two related businesses. We work directly with individual freelance IT consultants, giving them the pay, benefits and security normally reserved for employees. We also partner with staffing agencies and technology consultancies, giving them a structural advantage in hiring IT freelancers: we employ the consultant directly under a permanent contract and handle their payroll, benefits and HR admin end to end, while the agency keeps its own client relationship and mission.

For staffing agencies and technology consultancies specifically, partnering with Hightekers means lower acquisition costs, stronger retention through employee-level benefits, the ability to expand internationally by employing consultants compliantly wherever they're based, and less admin — with a dedicated account manager and platform handling the contract and HR work behind the scenes
