The JM Group celebrates 25 years

The JM Group, specialists in the supply of IT professionals on a search, permanent and contract/interim basis, has been celebrating 25 years as one of the the leading suppliers of IT personnel to the financial & consulting sectors.

As part of the celebrations at the beginning of the year, the jm group held an interactive, IT based quiz, primarily aimed at their candidate community which saw well over 4,500 candidates participate. There was a prize draw at the end of the competition which saw Neil Tingley win the latest Apple MacBook Pro.

The centrepiece of the celebrations and the highlight of the year was the party help by the directors and employees of the jm group where they were joined by over 150 of their clients at the Stationers Hall in the City of London for what turned out to be a fantastic evening set in the gardens with 4 piece jazz band providing the entertainment.

At the event, Rory Ferguson, Director of Search and Selection, commented that he had always been impressed with the strength of the relationships that the jm group had with most of its core client base. Some of which go back to those very 1st days of the jm group. The fact that the two very first clients are still in our top 10 clients in terms of revenue and more importantly that we are still one of their top suppliers is a fantastic achievement and one that very few other IT recruitment agencies could match. He went on the add that he thought the jm group brand was strong and well known in the City and will continue to improve following the consolidation of the brand 6 months ago.

Julie-Anne Brooks, Director Contracts, added that the event was a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to new and old clients alike, but especially to those clients that had been serviced by the jm group for over a quarter of a century.

Louise Smith, Director of Business Development, rounded off the evening with a toast to everyone assembled stating the quality of the jm group service is still second to none 25 years ago. We still remain as one of the key players in the IT recruitment market and I strongly believe that we will continue to do so for the next 25 years.
