Firm assesses the role of new technologies in the search for senior roles

GatenbySanderson today announced that it is repositioning its services in anticipation of market changes that it believes will affect executive recruitment as a result of Web 2.0ís interactivity revolution. The company is also responding to new government targets that challenge service providers to be more accountable.

As the industriesí top public sector recruitment firm, GatenbySanderson is leading the market by focusing on new technologies available, to better target and generate response from potential candidates, whilst also increasing time and cost efficiencies.

As part of this new strategy, GatenbySanderson is launching a new ëDigital Resourcingí business that will focus on online search, behavioural marketing, client profiling and perception studies, incorporating sophisticated data analysis.

The consultancy plans to provide greater flexibility and innovation, so that clients can work within their budgets, selecting those core elements of human resourcing that add value. Technology will be used to provide a broader, more measurable and cost effective service, as well as a better candidate experience.

Graham Goodwin, Managing Partner and founder of GatenbySanderson said: ìDigital Resourcing is an area that we believe can bring significant benefits to the market place, enabling us to cut out a number of additional costs currently incurred by clients. People at all levels can now be more effectively targeted and the potential for on line assessment will enable us to create talent pools to explore the opportunities for the executive of tomorrow.î

GatenbySanderson is also leading the way in the recruitment market by developing its ëaccountability servicesí. Using a mixture of online analytics, candidate and client feedback and data management systems, GatenbySanderson is launching a programme to more accurately measure response rates to both print and online campaigns, measuring the experience of clients and candidates whilst also assessing the diversity of applicants.

MP, Graham Goodwin concluded, ìThis is a very exciting time for GatenbySanderson. There is undoubtedly a need for more accountability and greater levels of service, whilst ensuring that the public sector has access to the expertise that it requires during the inevitable period of change that follows a new Prime Minister.
