UK entrepreneurs given chance to 'dine with a dragon'

.

Independent business finance specialist Bibby Financial Services has linked up with James Caan, the latest star of the BBCís Dragonsí Den, to offer business owners the chance to win lunch with the serial entrepreneur at a top London restaurant.

As a company that understands the day-to-day trials and tribulations of running a business, having working with and delivered alternative finance solutions to small businesses for more than 25 years, Bibby Financial Services has launched a new promotion to offer ten lucky clients the chance to meet a real life business success story.

Every business that signs up for one of Bibbyís extensive range of business finance solutions before March 31 2008 will be eligible to enter into the prize draw. Winners will gain valuable insight and advice on getting ahead in business, as well as the opportunity to share experiences and challenges with nine other entrepreneurs.

Caan has been creating, building and selling businesses for over 20 years and, like Bibby, is well placed to offer advice on how to make it in business. In 1985, he set up the Alexander Mann Group, one of the UK's leading HR outsourcing companies, and achieved a turnover of 130million before selling it to a private equity firm in 2002.

The latest recruit to the Dragonsí Den panel, Caan is a graduate of Harvard Business School's prestigious Advanced Management Programme and was named PricewaterhouseCoopers' Entrepreneur of the Year in 2003.

Bibby Financial Servicesí chief executive David Roberston says: ìWeíre delighted to be able to offer our new clients not only the best financial solution for their business needs, but also the chance to win a once in a lifetime opportunity ñ to pick the brains of a self-made multi-millionaire, without having to step sheepishly into the Dragonsí Den.
