Enterprise Solutions Group, (ESG), developers of the integrated agency management system, Conceptô, has today announced that Ian Tomlins has been promoted to divisional director of Concept and joins the executive team of ESG.
Ian has worked with ESG for almost 10 years and has been instrumental in designing and implementing strategies to realise ESGís sales ambitions for the Concept agency management solution and services. With an extensive background in selling business solutions to advertising agencies, Ian is a very well known and much respected figure amongst advertising agency professionals.
Ian began his career when he joined his first advertising agency in 1979 in the role of Group Accountant. He transitioned to the role of Computer Manager, following the installations of the agencyís first computer system and since that time he has been selling computer systems to advertising agencies throughout the UK and Europe. Ian came to ESG from rival Adserve.
At ESG, Ian is responsible for the creation and execution of sales strategies into existing and new markets and to support the companyís aggressive growth strategy. Now as divisional director Ian takes a wider responsibility that not only embraces sales and services strategy but also customer retention, client services and product strategy and direction.
