The annual independent audit of the UKís leading online recruitment sites has recorded a massive increase in traffic on s1jobs, Scotlandís main recruitment platform.
According to ABCE s1jobs attracted 338,257 unique users in October and served 10.2 million pages. That represents a 60% increase on the number of users recorded at its last audit (November 05).
Mark Smith, s1 Managing Director, said: ìThese figures demonstrate both the strength of the Scottish recruitment market and the strength of our position within it. To put this result in context, if you were to extrapolate the unique users figure across the UK youíd get some 3.4 million monthly users, which would make s1jobs the UKís most popular recruitment site, by far.
ìOf course, we realise that what employers are looking for is the right candidate, rather than simply more candidates, which is why we offer a range of recruitment services, from Scotlandís most effective recruitment advertising to its fastest growing candidate database, as well as a full suite of class-leading vacancy and applicant management tools.î
The ABCE audit forms part of the National Online Recruitment Audience Survey, which combines audited traffic figures with detailed demographic profiling of the UKís leading recruitment sites. The full NORAS results will be published early in February.
